I am one of 4 children and spent most of my childhood and youth in a village in the Nuremberg area. At the age of nine I moved together with my parents and siblings to Freiberg (Saxony). We lived there for five years until we moved back to Nuremberg in 1997.
In Nuremberg I trained as a state-certified social worker and then as a geriatric nurse. However, I have always been very interested in IT, especially in programming and image processing. After my two apprenticeships, I decided without further ado to develop professionally in this direction.
In the meantime I moved to Augsburg, where I visited the BOS Augsburg, which I successfully completed in 2010 with the higher education entrance qualification. Subsequently, I began studying computer science at the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg, which I successfully completed in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Building on this, I also attended the HSA's Interactive Media Systems course in Computer Games Development, which I also successfully completed in February 2017 with a Master of Arts degree.
Between 2013 and 2017, I worked as a student assistant in the support department of the data center of the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg. In 2015 I also started working as a student trainee at the advertising agency creationell GmbH & Co. KG, where I continued working as a web developer after completing my studies. However, since I wanted to continue my professional development, I left creationell in the summer of 2018 to take up a position as a software developer at Grollmus GmbH. Unfortunately, this was not the right thing for me, which is why I soon reoriented myself again. Due to my previous experience in support, in the datacenter of the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg, I have been working as a system administrator and service technician at Contabo GmbH since March 2019. In addition to customer support and the maintenance of the internal infrastructure, I am also responsible for the development of internal projects. In addition, as a trainer I accompany our IT specialist apprentices through their training, am jointly responsible for supervising our trainees and am always happy to help them with questions and problems.
